The Jacobs Inn hostel provides modern budget accommodation situated in Dublin city centre, 300 metres from Connolly Station and 800 metres from Dublin Castle. Each shared dormitory contains around five bunk beds, providing linens and duvets along with housekeeping services.
Before sightseeing, guests can exchange currency at the 24-hour front desk, ask multilingual staff for tour assistance, and research the area using the high-speed Internet. After a busy day guests can play a game on the pool table or relax in front of the television in the lobby. The hotel's modern café, serves a variety of breakfasts, homemade soups, sandwiches and meals. Guests can visit Dublin Castle 800 metres away and stroll along Grand Canal two kilometres away. Being located 300 metres from Connolly Station and opposite the central bus station means the hotel has excellent transport links, while Dublin International Airport is located 15 kilometres away.
Renovations at the Jacobs Hostel currently taking place are expected to continue until June 2006. During this time, there will be minimum disturbances to guests as most of the work is carried out externally. The elevator is being replaced to accommodate an additional second floor. To complete this work, the elevator will be closed from 27 March until 1 May 2006.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS
Airlink Bus runs to the central bus station (Busaras), which is
directly opposite the hostel. Alternatively, Aircoach runs to
O'Connell Street, just a few minutes walk from the hostel. The
service runs 24 hours, every day. Tickets can be purchased from
the bus driver and cost approximately ten euros (return).
